Sign up to learn the techniques and skills that will make you a pro! Under the direction of Revere tennis pro, Mr. Roig, students will develop a powerful serve, backhand, forehand and overhead smash. Students will improve their game through group lessons. If you have any interest in tennis, make sure to sign up early. This class is limited to 12 students.

Ultimate Frisbee

Students will join local Ultimate Frisbee legends, Brandon Severson and Sam Nichols, as they teach the fundamentals of throwing, marking, and playing. Each day you will practice these techniques and learn various strategies during scrimmages. Get a great workout and have fun at the same time as Ultimate Frisbee returns!!! Participants will also receive their own frisbee.

Basketball Skills Clinic

If you are serious about playing basketball at the high school level, this clinic is for you. This class is designed for intermediate to advanced players only. Students will work with a basketball specialist to improve their game and be better prepared to compete at the high school level.

JavaScript has a long history in dynamic web applications for the internet and is a professional programming language used in business today. This class focuses on teaching kids the basics of coding, while discussing Computer Science concepts and problem solving using Computational Thinking Methods. It is the prerequisite for the follow-up class, Coding for Animation & Video Games. Your instructor, Richard Brous, has a Computer Science degree from LMU and a background in Animation (DreamWorks) and Video Games (Electronic Arts – Los Angeles).

Intro to Coding for Animation and Video Games

Now it’s time to use the skills learned from Intro to Coding to discover how Animation and Video Games are built with code. This class focuses on the fundamentals of 2d computer graphics & animation, finishing with the creation of a video game. A perfect follow up for those who have taken the Animation & Video Game class and are looking for game projects to test and further develop their skills. The continued practice of yoga has been proven to lead to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with the environment. Martial Arts - Jeet Kune Do

Martial Arts – Jeet Kune Do – This is a hybrid martial art heavily influenced by the philosophy of martial artist Bruce Lee. Participants in this class will learn self-discipline and gain confidence as they are exposed to fighting techniques. This style of martial arts is a safe, simple, and effective method of self-protection that really works. The course is taught by Instructor Ephrem, who has 17 years of martial arts experience. One of his former students is now a world champion! Participants in this class will receive a karate uniform (gi) that will be required to be worn in class

Beginning Guitar

If you’ve always wanted to learn guitar, this is a good way to being! Mastering the classical technique will be applicable to any style of music that you may be interested in learning. Playing with your fingers vs. playing with a pick will give you versatility and creative possibilities. You will learn the different parts of the guitar, tuning techniques, how to read music, left and right hand technique, and study scales, chords, and arpeggios. You will need a serviceable guitar, preferably nylon string, purchase guitar books, and a folder for handouts.

Do you want to impress others with your ability to play your favorite songs on the guitar? This is your chance to refine your skills! This class will build upon students’ prior knowledge and ability to read music. Guitars are NOT provided. Students must provide their own acoustic guitars. Students should also purchase their own capo and pic. (No electric guitars will be used in the class.)

Taught by Revere’s very talented Ms. Monica, students will learn how to create AMAZING, festive decorations, flowers, and just about anything out of paper. Mural Painting at the Farm

Expand your artistic experiences! Help Ms. Robertson create colorful and informative nature-themed art. Leave your mark on the walls of the goat pen, the World Foods Garden and the Butterfly Garden. Students will also create two art projects for their own home or garden. (Please note: We will not be gardening or caring for animals during this time.)

 
Reminder
In order to ensure the safety of all students... please pick up students in the PE area.  Please drive up the west driveway and park near the gym, in the bus area (by the transportation office).  After child is picked up, please proceed up the west driveway to Sunset Blvd.

Enrollment is on a first come- first serve basis. Register your child early to guarantee a space.

Costs include a $25 non-refundable registration fee.  All requests for refunds must be submitted prior to the start of the second week of the session.
 
Student Eligibility Requirements:
1) Good citizenship and behavior are expected at all times, especially when dealing with coaches, instructors, and volunteers.  Poor citizenship/sportsmanship displayed by student and/or parent/guardian will result in student suspension/removal from the P.E.P. program without refund.
2) Students must maintain satisfactory academic marks (min. 2.0 gpa), work habits and cooperation to participate.
3) PEP has the right to remove students at any time due to safety concerns or behavior issues.
4) Completed forms (registration, financial aid) and payment must be received before student can participate.
5) Participants must show up to practices and classes regularly and on time.
6) All Financial Aid requests must be submitted prior to the first day of the session. Due to budgetary planning, all Financial Aid requests turned in on or after the first day of the session will not be accepted or processed.
7) All requests for refunds must be submitted prior to the start of the second week of the session.
8) Outdoor activities will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
9) There are no make up days for missed classes/activities.
10) Enrollment is on a first come- first serve basis. Register your child early to guarantee a space.
